Ear Correction Surgery

The surgery for protruding ears, known as otoplasty, is a surgical procedure aimed at improving the shape and position of the ears. It is most commonly performed on individuals with protruding ears, which can cause aesthetic and psychological discomfort. The procedure allows for the correction of protruding ears by positioning them closer to the head and reshaping the cartilage, giving the ears a more natural appearance. Otoplasty is a popular solution for both children and adults, and ear correction is usually performed after the age of 6, when the ears are fully developed.

During the surgery, the surgeon may use various techniques depending on the degree of deformity and the individual expectations of the patient. The procedure involves making an incision behind the ear, reshaping the cartilage, and in some cases, removing excess cartilage. The positioning of the ears in a closer position is achieved by properly shaping and suturing the cartilage. If the patient has additional deformities, such as excess cartilage in the upper parts of the ears, these are also removed or corrected.

In addition to improving protruding ears, the surgery may involve reconstructing the ear after injuries or congenital defects, allowing for the restoration of their shape. The goal of the procedure is to achieve symmetry and a natural appearance of the ears that will harmoniously blend with the rest of the face.

Patient Review

I am a week post breast augmentation and ear correction surgery. My breasts and ears already look beautiful. The doctor is precise; you can tell he knows his work and is perfect at it. The scar from the stitching is perfectly and precisely sewn. A doctor with a great sense of aesthetics and beauty. I traveled halfway across the country, and I know it was worth it. During the bandage change at my local place, another doctor was shocked at how beautifully everything was done, which speaks for itself. The contact was perfect. The visits were quick, but the doctor knows his stuff and knows what he’s doing; I believe he can be trusted 100%. Thank you, and I recommend! 🙂

A very kind and smiling person (which reduces stress 🙂 ) a very good and professional surgeon with a sense of humor! 🙂 50% of the person who contributed to fulfilling my dream. Thank you for the perfect ear correction! 🙂 You are the best!!!
